LQ (Life Quality)

At the age of 27, I was conventionally successful. Lots of money and a high media profile from successful business start-ups in Japan. A lovely wife, and four children.

But I was working and traveling 25 days per month. Living the high life—at 27!

Yet I began wondering . . . is this all there is? What is True Success? What is True Happiness?

I began asking successful people I was meeting around the world, what they thought determined True Happiness . . .

I wrote their answers down. I analyzed them. I worked to find common denominators. Because nobody actually had a complete concept of True Happiness. Or maybe, more importantly, how to achieve True Happiness. Or how to even “talk” about it.

The concept of LQ was born. LQ = Life Quality.

I tested and refined the LQ concepts with my students at the University of Hawai?i Hilo. (How to LQ your income. How to LQ your relationships. How to LQ your health.)

I began working with small business owners on Hawai?i Island to help them “LQ their businesses.” (Because a business should be enhancing your LQ, not detracting from it.)

After 3 decades of research, I have come up with a remarkably SIMPLE yet COMPLETE guide with 5 LQ Principles that will help you build your House of Happiness.

By Troy Tamashiro
Never judge the value of a value by the number of pages. This book has really acted as a guide for me and my family. I cannot recommend this book enough. A great gift for those starting their careers or those burnt out from their current professions!
